The world’s leading photography based mobile app, SnapChat, has launched a brand new “one eyed ketamine” filter.

According to app developers, the latest filter on the mobile app will allow users to experience the visual effects of ketamine without having to take the drug.

“The new one eyed ketamine filter is really going to give our users an insight into the lives of ket heads, or train wrecks as we call them here in SnapChat HQ,” explained Doug de Houl, SnapChat’s chief developer. “The filter will make everything look completely wonky, a little bit lopsided and totaly terrifying.”

“The cool thing about the filter is that once you close one of your eyes, the pictures, which were totally incomprehensible just moments before, will come into focus and make perfect sense,” claimed Mr de Houl. “Plus, when you take a photo of someone using the one eyed ketamine filter it will automatically put a vacant expression on their face and a crusty white ring around their right nostril, this is going be the biggest drug related filter since ‘pill jaws’ or ‘off your tits eyes’, it’s going to be huge.”

Regular ketamine user and SnapChat enthusiast Cara Delevingne claimed that, while she thinks the app is “kinda cool” she doesn’t really “get it”.

“I love getting myself a bit wobbly and getting a case of ket eye,” revealed Delevigne. “So I can see why it would seem kind of cool that there’s a filter that can do that, but, in all honesty, the ket bit is the fun bit so I don’t really see the point. It’s kind of like getting pregnant without fucking or taking a shit without eating, why would you cut the fun bit out?”
